Ah, yes, the Long Beach, her 'mother' was Enterprise, had the same island configuration with the SCANFAR system when I was aboard 'Big E', later changed from vacuum tubes to solid state, saved 20 tons weight, then replaced by a better system. Pilots hated the SCANFAR island as it caused undue turbulence in the airstream during final approach.
