Project Lua Script Helicopters!

Landscape has low resolution, so it's difficult to evaluate the quality of the "mirror". Maybe try to look at the reflection of the DG in this "mirror". Or some mesh with text.
The reflected "red blob" is (I think!) the NASA logo on the VAB!

For clarity/to be concise you can, as I mentioned above, also do this on a material level using a config/CG/.cfg file, the advantage with a map is it's on a pixel basis. I think (?) the results are the same. Don't know if map resolution makes a difference? This was done with 500x500px for 20cm, should be enough?
Also note this is not using the (new) _metal, _rough maps, I think the metal just adds a blur/bend for a chrome effect.
 
I made some tests. Both the following ways look the same for me:

1) .dds + _spec.dds + _refl_dds
2) .dds + _metal.dds

All textures are pure white. I haven't noticed any difference between 32x32 and 4096x4096 resolution. Adding the "_rghn.dds" texture in the second way doesn't affect anything for me.

That's astonishingly good. That would be absolutely acceptable as a car mirror.
