Got up early and all set for the historical flight
Launch went well at exactly 06:07:00
Booster separation at 06:09:27
Fairing separation at 06:09:27
MECO at 06:11:57
Final stage separation at 06:16:02
Coasted into night and all going well!
Then at 06:37 Kedr started to loose altitude and began re-entry
So the mission was aborted.

Still ..... there is always next year!!!

Wait a minute... MECO and no SECO? The Vostok launcher had three stages, not just one... (or two, in case you count the sustainer stage as first one and the side modules as stage 0 / boosters)

I also did it, launch was 2 minutes to late, but after reaching orbit I just changed the time. Reentry didn't work so good, after crossing the Black Sea it was sure that I would fly to far. So I just opened the chute for a few seconds, and landed 25 km from the target. And there's still a space shuttle launch to do in realtime in two hours.

I did the ritual real-time Vostok-1 at 1am before I went to bed. Doth the Probe forgiveth for this temporal misalignment?

Recreated it here... NAIL IT! YES!... landings just 23 km from the historic landing site.

The retro engine thrust is way to high.

HISTORICAL VALUES:
Pitch: -38°;
Burn Start: 07:25:47 UT;
Burn Duration: 42 Sec.;

Orbiter Values:
Pitch: -38°;
Burn Start: 07:25:47;
Burn Duration: 28 sec.;

this should be as simple as decreaseing the max main thrust.
