I came across Orbiter several years ago with every intention of digging into it. I even printed out some manuals and GO LEARN TO FLY IN SPACE. Life got in the way and I stopped. Well now I am reading Buzz Aldrins (Mission to Mars) and lets just say I am inspired to learn about Orbiter and do a lot of playing. I am overwhelmed at all the addons and the complexity of what this thing can do. Hopefully I can spend enough time without getting the wife and kids to mad at me. Maybe even get some of the kids involved.
Now that I can put the manuals and tutorials on the ipad it makes it much easier to learn.
1st step DG to IIS and DG to the Moon. Then I will dean in into the LEARN TO FLY even though its my understanding that its a tad bit outdated.
One other thing. Its really hard when looking at the add on at Orbiter hanger not to just go crazy. Is there a ADDON manager for 2010 p1? I guess I need to maintain a few different Orbiter directories to play in.
