Hi, im new to the orbiter community, I started playing orbiter 2 months ago when I found out a space simulator existed. I decided to try this out because, between you and me, I have a giant collection of spacecraft models.

Although im new to orbiter, I've been able to understand timewarp, the Deltaglider and many other addons.

Welcome to the forums !

You can fly all kind of spacecraft in Orbiter : from the very realistic Soyuz, Apollo, and Shuttle addons to the ultra-advanced antimatter-powered SSTO gliders ! :P

welcome to the forum! there are a few things you might want to know:
1.feel free to share your questions about orbiter, don't be shy, thrust me, i where like this, now i know how to get in orbit!(tough still trying to figure how to reach another object's orbit  )
2.yes, you can install LOADS of additional bases, spacecraft and even planetary systems!
3.as loads of addons, our mates have loads of tutorials all around.
4.the easier way to get in orbit is reading the manuals and tutorials, otherwise, you will spend loooong time trying to figure it out yourself.

:welcome: to Orbiter-Forum! You're off to a good start!

There are plenty of tutorials (of which there is an outstanding list HERE) out here (Go Play in Space is an absolute must), and an infinite array of things to do with the simulator and multitudinous addons (of which there is also an outstanding list, also HERE.) The learning curve never really ends. It's a trap!

:welcome: to the Forum!

As the others already said, we have a nice list of tutorials that are there to help you get off the ground (quite literally). Of course, if you have questions or need help, don't hesitate to ask on the forums! However, when you ask, be prepared to provide as much information as possible- the more we know, the more we can help!

Happy Orbiting!

Welcome to the internet's most civilised and educational forum.

Internet civility is like physics models - 90% of flight sims have no 'physics model' whatsoever :)

May you find happiness by burning rocket fuel :D

The Random Comments thread says otherwise. :P

:welcome: to Orbiter-Forum, enjoy your stay, just don't try opening the windows. (You guys remember last time? Poor guy)

:welcome: to the forums! All I can say is that Go Play In Space is the "most best-est" Orbiter tutorial in the whole wide world. Definetly worth a try! :speakcool:
