Hi Misha!
I have a problem with terrain elevation in Orbiter Beta r90: the Habana terrain is not flat, the runway is mega bumpy and the landing pads float in the air.
Any idea what might be the problem? Surface elevation ist set to linear interpolation.
In Orbiter 2024 and Orbiter 2016 it works just fine - just Orbiter Beta r90 has the mentioned terrain problems.
Best regards
Rick

Hi. Unfortunately, I haven't the Orbiter Beta R90 installed on my PC (and I almost haven't used it), so I can't try it. Maybe it's related to that version. But you can check if terrain flattening is enabled in advanced video settings.

Also, you can attach screenshots how the issue looks, so maybe someone could help you with it.

Thank you for your your response, Misha!
I think i got the problem nailed: The D3D9 Client for Orbiter BETA r90 does not seem to support terrain flattening. In the menu of the D3D9-Client for Orbiter BETA i didn´t find any entry to activate terrain flattening and whenever i modify the D3D9Client.cfg with the entry "TerrainFlats = 1" the modified entry get´s automatically deleted upon starting Orbiter BETA r90. So it seems to me that the D3D9-Client for Orbiter BETA simply does not support terrain flattening.
