First post, have a question.

Hi there, I've been using orbiter for a few years, though I'm still a newbie when it comes to using it. Anyway, I just downloaded the beta but it won't run. I get an error saying I'm missing the GDIClient.dll

First thing would to be to check if GDIClient.dll is actually there or not. It should be in the base Orbiter directory (eg, c:\Orbiter). If it is not there you have not installed the beta correctly. Did you download and install beta 091020 over 090331 and 091015?

I probably did it wrong. -headdesk- I have to install 091015 and then 090331 over that and then 091020 over that?

Have you loaded any addons? That might be it, or perhaps try a fresh install. The Beta works great for me. I've even installed sound (although they don't recommend it), and it works as well.

No, install 090331, then 091015, then 091020 (at least that is what the instructions say ).

Wrong order.

First 090331, then the October releases. The core package is the 090331 release, not one of the October releases, those are just patches that fixes various issues.
