OHM FalconHeavy for Orbiter2016

I think the mesh not found is typical for D3d9 and sc3/4.

#Barry golden. Try running the Boeing x37b scenario.

Barry - try running the OTV7 launch scenario using default Orbiter graphics (not D3D9).
Any good?

Just a question: Why is the powerful FalconHeavy used to launch the X-37B into orbit?

The X-37B is listed to weigh around 5 ton only. This would be well within the range of Falcon9.
Is it only because of the large fairing?
Or is a heavier payload co-manifested with this launch?

Just a question: Why is the powerful FalconHeavy used to launch the X-37B into orbit?
This is the official statement from the US Space Force:
"The use of a Falcon Heavy rocket will expand the X-37B flight envelope, launching into a new orbital regime, and enabling unique experimentation opportunities for the X-37B"

With Antarctica in the background, the Falcon upper stage with its X-37B payload is burning for a highly elliptical Molniya orbit.
As shown in the inset picture, it will remain quasi-stationary for 8 h of each orbit over high northern latitudes.

Well I guess we'll never know... They sort of lose interest at 124 km and shift the focus on the booster return... It could be on the way to Mars and still have 11,800 kg of payload to spare... Now there's a scenario.

Classified missions always never show any second stage footage to make their orbits difficult to predict by anyone, so they just stream booster landings shortly after stage sep

There is a blog on the possible orbit of OTV-7 by a Tracking station in Leiden, Netherlands.
The initial launch azimuth results in an orbital inclination of about 48.25 degrees.
I am however inclined to think that a dogleg might be involved at some point,
and the real target inclination might be ~64 degrees.
A high-inclination orbit, in combination with a powerful FalconHeavy (for 5 ton payload) would fit to a Molniya orbit with an inclination of 63.4°. We will see if they can find out the real orbit of this mission.

There has been an update and we now know exactly the actual orbit of Boeing OTV-7

Update 241024

Added .cfg file option for custom Fairing texture.
Improved RCS stability during time acceleration.

If you have previous version 230920 installed already, a patch with new .dll's, .cfg's and .dds is attached below.

Update 250125

New charred hull textures and upper stage engine detail by @francisdrake
Some small fixes for functional compatibility with OpenOrbiter2024*

*If using OpenOrbiter2024 D3D9 Graphics Client, you still need to set Texture Mipmaps to "Load As Defined" (Video -> Advanced -> Texture Mipmaps)

Cheers,

Hello, BrainJ!

I downloaded the latest version of this addons, but why is its file the same as Falcon9's file? I don't think this is my mistake. Is there a solution at present?
