API Question Developing for Orbiter 2024?

I am still using the 2016 API without problems, to retrain backwards compatibilty. Only the initialization of variables seems to be checked more stringent in 2024. If all initializations are done properly, everything works fine.
Thanks francisdrake, so you just develop in Orbiter 2016 and then have found no issues using your addons in Orbiter 2024?

Hi, @Mr Martian. If you could help us with understanding and making elevation (.*elv) tiles (they don not require compilation :) and are the same for 2016/2024), namely I mean creating *.elv tiles of different levels from a grey source picture that covers the whole planet/moon that you have made for your Uranian and Neptunian moons, then I am sure it will be very useful for us. We need it, just have a look at the thread Custom Planet Elevation Maps for Orbiter 2016?

Also, some time ago we discuss (in dirrect messages) creating surface and elevation textures, and I send you a script I am using for surface textures. I am ready to continue this conversation.
