OHM Delta IV Launch Vehicles 2.0

After tackling with my computer, I can confirm that my computer's video card is to blame for the bugs I found: my computer's a laptop, so when the video card "throttles down", the frame rate fell to ~4 FPS and everything messes up. The addon is now working nicely.
BTW, this would put VAFB SLC-6 in the correct place:
Code:
Delta4:delta4/Delta4
  STATUS Landed Earth
  POS -120.6254000 34.5806300
  HEADING 90.00
  AFCMODE 7
  PRPLEVEL 0:1.000000
  NAVFREQ 0 0
  PAYLOAD delta4/sat2
  MESH Delta4/sat2
  Z_OFFSET 6.512422
  CONFIG 0.000000
  PLDWEIGHT 13000.000000
  Fairing_attached 1
  missiontime 0.000000
END
LC6:delta4/lpad2
  STATUS Landed Earth
  POS -120.6254000 34.5806300
  HEADING 180.00
  AFCMODE 7
  PRPLEVEL 0:1.000000
  THLEVEL 2:1.000000 3:1.000000 4:1.000000 5:1.000000 8:1.000000
  NAVFREQ 0 0
END

also, i cant seem to get the autopilot panel for the heavy+, is that a bug?
Delta IV Read-me documentation said:
Autopilot is not yet implemented for the Delta IV super heavy, but will be in future releases.

Great addon. Would it be possible to have a larger fairing? Or even to use your own custom fairing?
Interestingly, I don't think ULA is considering a larger fairing in real life (their future launcher development path will focus on upgrading the Atlas V, not the more expensive Delta IV)! Still, it would be fun to see a Delta IV with a larger fairing...

I thought I remember reading once a technical .pdf from ULA that mentioned the possibility of a larger fairing, however that was a while ago, and that idea could have gone the way the dinosaurs by now. Or then again, I also could just be completely wrong, that does happen from time to time, lol.

With that said, my biggest interest in using a larger fairing is for a couple of my own addons that used francisdrake's Delta 4 Heavy that had included a larger fairing (6m wide IIRC). I'd like to switch my Io Orbiter and my Eris Explorer to using your Delta IV Heavy, but I need a larger fairing to put them in.

Larger custom fairings could be a possibility in the future. It shouldent take much more coding as long as the height didnt change.

The photagrapher that took this picture says, the H2 vent is located right next to the H2 tank, but I could never find any pictures that shows its correct position. I may have to guess at it for future releases.

Thanks again for this really great addon, and if you decide to improve this anymore, could you add a hide button panel for the configuration pop up panel, and seperate buttons for the arms and cables extend retract, also the DGs landing gear deploys at launch, and I dont know what exactly it;s called but there is some type of gas bleed off near the launch pad I always see in the background before launch in the real videos that would be great to see in this wonderful addon.:tiphat:

Also ,I didnt see the need to be able to hide the config menu, launch is disabled when it is open.

There are some youtube videos where you can see the position of the H2 vent, also I will look for a picture of the position of the bleed off vent at both Canaveral, and Vandenburgh.

For me I need a 5M fairing that's at least 105 feet long, but I guess that would change quite a few things, including Cg. The minimum Barrel length would need to be 65 feet. The EPS modules I designed are 60 feet long and cannot be broken apart. My heaviest object is 39,500 Pounds but is relatively short and would fit under a "long" PLF.

I remember reading on custom PLFs, I'll need to find the article and see if it was Delta.

Ok, I am pretty sure I've located the location for the h2 vent.
Also Im thinking about adding something to help with lining up custom payloads.

Virii2k nice the H2 vent looks very cool, and the payload option window is a great idea ,any chance at a max Q effect, and also I saw on a launch from Vandeburgh AFB the rocket boosters caught fire and extinguish out in the thinner atmosphere they said it was made to do this, I never saw it in a Cape launching though, that would also be a cool effect.Thanks.

The max q effect could be doable, if I can find some pictures or video of it

I know molsons addon DG launcher has a nice maxQ effect, and so does the newest version of the jarvis rocket, also I believe thortons ISS 3.2 has one with the space shuttle launch too,but I will do a search for you.

The payload alignment tool is just about complete, and will be in the next update. It should help alot with aligning custom payloads.
Also working on the MaxQ effect.

Thanks for the video. That should be easy enough to add.
I am also working on refining the auto pilot. After releasing version 2.0,
I have had a chance to play around with it and noticed it isnt as accurate
with higher altitude orbits. So I am currently working on this issue. I'm also adding a combo box so you can select any currently orbiting object to copy its orbital elements automaticlly.

How do I bring up the dialog for configuring the autopilot? :embarrassed:

Also, in the payload dialog (after pressing 'M') I cannot type letters into the entries to change payload and mesh. When I try to type the path to a config file or mesh a balloon pops up telling me that only numbers can be typed in.

Cool addon, BTW.

Pressing 'A' will bring up the autopilot config, also 'numbers only' was a bug in the previous version. The current download (2.0) should allow for letters to be typed in the edit boxes.

Just a quick update, I am still working on the next release. I just been so busy at work I havent had much free time, but I havent forgot about this project!

You need to make sure that the gear on the DG is retracted in the DG scenario.
