Creator- Sonic Boom (Caution Large Images)

Got a new set today.

It is a nice little (ok big) set which in the creator theme is mod-able.

The 3 control surfaces can be removed and swapped around as desired.

The cockpit has some nice detail, room for some minifigs and the simple chairs look good. The rear canopy pops up too.

The engines use a self contained light brick. This has the batteries and switch built in. The landing gear can be retracted and locked into place.

The engine inlets have some nice lines about them and so does the rest of the fuselage.

Overall a nice looking set but some might have trouble getting it at full retail price (Got it for 20% off).

As you can see on the pictures below I have added a few things already. Some camera pods and smoke outlets.

I've never seen a Creator set with minifigs...

the set doesn't come with them... tl8 has his already owned minifigs...

but, i really want this set too!!! along with the new shuttle.

jedimaster1214 is correct. Those minfigs are from various sets that I own.

do the gears retract? they look cleverly articulated


it's been a while since i last pulled out my buckets of Lego... this is very inspiring to look at - although these days, i do most my models in 3dsmax :lol:

Yes the gears retract. Nothing to special though doors are simulated for the main gear,

If I were interested in LEGO I'd spend $100 on the shuttle, but I'm not really interested.
