Is there a possible or exsisting MFD that shows you your exact position on a planet, this will help with luanching and just to know where you are. I know the standard Map MFD shows a basic planetary ground position, but i'm looking for something more in depth.
If someone could develop it, it could maybe include if your doing a de-orbit burn it shows the estimated coordinates on where the spacecraft would land, un-aided.
Thanks.
Ryan.

I'm 95% sure that SurfaceMFD shows lat/long as well as their rate of change.

It shows basic coordinates though, im looking for a in depth read out.
What more could you want? You can't get any more specific than latitude, longitude, and altitude.

i'm not sure what more you can ask for in a coordinate system. it gives you very precise surface coordinates. there isn't much more it could tell you.
