Request Capital Ships

Hi!
I was wondering, could someone create some capital cruisers as an addon for Orbiter? With capital, i mean like Vashes great Chimera addon ( [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3948"]EVE Chimera[/ame] ), but with ships more like star wars-style? Or EVE, for that matter. I just love flying around huge cruisers, while exploring the galaxy with the warpgates addon. Some examples :

As a matter of fact someone did export some ships from EVE, and published them (with the permission of EVE's developer) onto Orbithangar. Here's the link:

But i was actually looking for some big cruisers. I already have every ship Vash has uploaded, and i like them very much, that's why i'm interested in new ones Do you have some more links to big cruisers?

Look at the ones I posted above. There are some big ones. Especially the second (Executer). But the others are also interesting.

(oh, one more thing - can you tell me how to edit a vessel's thrust ratio? the Providence and Chimera by Vash have a too low thrust setting for me )

No. Vashs ships have a own dll. That would require rewriting the dll. Other ships may have a spacecraft ini or a vesse config. But vashs ones have a dll.

I believe that the info in the .cfg files takes precedence over the stuff in the clbk_SetClassCaps method, so you can try adding stuff to the .cfg like this:

MaxMainThrust = n

...where n is the thrust, in newtons.

This is not true. Anything in the DLL will overwrite things in the config file.

i downloaded the executor yesterday, and i REALLY like it, because of its fast engines, its huge hull, and its overall mesh style :thumbup:

After I finish Saturn V MK II rocket I`m currently making I will also release my SciFi Battleship which is also nearly completed. Then there will be one more huge and extremely fast ship for Orbiter.

No offense, but if these are the sorts of ships that interest you, Orbiter is probably not the sim for you.

can someone make the mothership from homeworld? it had enough bays for just about anything else that is in orbiter so it would be perfect for a carrier ship for other vessels
