Bright star occultation

This video shows the occultation of the star Eta Gem by the Moon at 21:11:36 UTC on the 13th March 2011. The star is a red/orange star some 350 light years away, and as you can see, it disappeared in a matter of seconds:

Nice! At first I was confused over whether the bright thing to the right was the ground or the Moon, but I finally got it after the star disappeared behind the "invisible" part of the Moon.

As a matter of interest, what did you use for the occultation prediction?
 
Thanks for the comments :) I used calsky to predict it - it tells you everything you need to know about any sky event.

Very much so, it is an extremely useful tool. Good for predicting visible ISS passes or Iridium flares.
