Back in the 1970's Boeing did a whole series of studies to design more efficient future aircraft, all of which from short-haulers to international airliners were dubbed the "Boeing 767"
One design from 1973 was the Boeing 767-642C which was designed to minimize turnaround time at the airport, it being held that delays in the 'Terminal Area' were the main impediment to aircraft efficiency.
I'd love to see what this plane would have been like to fly. If it could be done with multiple airline skins (Pan-Am, Qantas, Lufthansa, British Airways etc) that would be wonderful.
