This looks amazing! I'm sure we've all been longing to see the Arrow achieve its full potential.

1 question - will it still be compatibile with inline DX7 client?

Absolutely as it use the Orbiter 2010 basic SDK.

The only problem would be with old system that can't handle the two 2048x2048 textures but such texture are supported since years now and with skin system it is still possible to make low res pack of 1024x1024 texture. (Resize down existing pack)

On my computer which is now old it run at about 400 / 600 FPS. (XP & dual core 2.4ghz, 2Gb ram, Geforce GTX 560)

It's still work in progress but I think I'll deliver it with 3-4 skins.

Cheer

Aww yeah! another good thing from Dan the expert (and creator of Fspassengers)
:tiphat:
(btw would those insain graphics slow down my pc? usually it runs quite well, despite lagging in ksp).

Even my low performance orbiter test rig ( PIII 800Mhz, 1GB ram, Radeon 9250 SE) can handle 2048x2048 textures. I used 1 in my Shuttle Mk2 dev and CSSC base and framerate is still at 30-35 FPS

Thanks. i have the most crappy PC too!

Dansteph, why the new arrow have a skin like it re-enter the earth 10 times?

Anyway, I can't wait for the release of the new arrow. :)

I just have one question: are there any upgrades on the cargo bay (be larger and better textured) to support a DG type vessel without any issues of (possible) collisions?
And as a future request, is it possible to have a payload manager that instead of a list to show the items in a grid style with small icons?

Well! Ain't that somethin'? I just got through landing the Arrow at Brighton Beach and wondered if there were an updated Arrow and this thread was the first thing I saw. What a coinkidink! Eh?

When is it coming out? :tiphat:
