ARIANESPACE FLIGHT - JCSAT-12 & OPTUS D3
THE LAUNCH READINESS REVIEW (RAL) took place in Kourou on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 and authorized count-down operations for the JCSAT-12 & OPTUS D3 launch.
For its fourth launch of the year, Arianespace will orbit two telecommunications satellites: JCSAT-12, built by Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems for the Japanese operator SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation, and Optus D3, built by Orbital Sciences Corporation for the Australian operator Optus.
The choice of Arianespace by leading space communications operators and manufacturers is clear international recognition of the company’s excellence in launch services.
It will be launched from the Ariane launch complex N° 3 (ELA3), in Kourou, French Guiana.
THE ARIANE 5 ECA LAUNCHER LIFT-OFF for this flight is scheduled on August 21-22, 2009 as soon as possible within the following launch window:

UTC / GMT
Between 10:09 pm
and 11:09 pm
on August 21, 200
