Updates Ariane 6 Updates

Booster separation!

Fairing separation!

Now in a steep climb...

2º stage now firing!

Yes, the telemetry view could also get modernized a bit, but at the same time, I like the classic Jupiter look.

Vinci burn complete, now in orbit! :hailprobe:
On the onboard view, looks like something fell off the vehicle a little before shutdown...

The second stage is now in coast phase.

If the animation is correct, its rotation rate is much slower than a Centaur upper stage.
The Centaur rotates once every 2 min, and reverses its rotation after half of the coast phase.
Here the rotation seems to take much longer.

Both stages rotate to avoid single-side heating of the propellant in the tanks, and to stabilize their axis without using RCS thrusters.

2º Vinci burn underway!

... and shutdown!

First batch of sats being deployed!

And success! If it now makes it to the deorbit maneuver, its 10/10

So I should celebrate that much like France in the semi-final?
I don't have the "soccer disease", so that one flew right over my head... 😅

I don't have the "soccer disease", so that one flew right over my head... 😅

I would have had a very hard time today, if Germany won that quarterfinal, so in a sense, I am lucky that we didn't get the penalty because of the handplay....
