Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Astrosammy, here is the new thread we will be using for the Site 11 Willow surface base. I look forward to discussing development with you.

Until then, this is Star Voyager, signing off.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Astrosammy, thank you for the update. I will be sure to check regularly.

Until then, this is Star Voyager, signing off.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Astrosammy, I recently downloaded the beta Altus AFB Site 11 surface base, and I enjoyed flying out of there with my Project Mercury Atlas. I can't wait to see the finished product. Good job ;)!

Wait till you see the ICBM out there.

I looked around a bit, the silo seems to have a diameter of 19.6m and a depth of 48m. The doors must be a bit bigger that the Atlas, wich has a diameter of 3.05m. It should even be possible to simulate the elevator.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Astrosammy, I appreciate the info you posted. If he doesn't know already, I will be sure to pass this info along to Mr. MJR.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Astrosammy, I have recently found Site 11 on Yahoo maps. If I were to compare Google and Yahoo on viewing the base, I would say Yahoo would be better. Here is a link:

http://maps.yahoo.com/broadband/#mvt=s&trf=0&lon=-99.4972222&lat=35.0616667&mag=3

If it doesn't work, please let me know.

Wow, beautiful! It will be a little bit harder to include into the project, but looks much better! Only thing that may be a problem is that the Terms of Use don't seem to allow it. Thanks, Star Voyager.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Astrosammy, I'm sorry to hear that they may not be accessible. But, I just thought you might want to take a look.

Good morning gentlemen,
For mr. Astrosammy, I just got done testing Site 11 and I must say that it has come a long way. My Mercury Atlas fits like a glove over the silo:speakcool:. Thank you for using Yahoo maps and your update. I do have one question though. Is the ICBM supposed to fit inside or above the silo?

The ICBM is supposed to fit inside the silo.
I allready made some experiments with an elevator, there are serious bugs, but I know how to get rid of them.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Astrosammy, thank you for the update. I see that you elevator is supposed to bring the Atlas down in the silo. Looks good so far and I can't wait to try it out with my Atlas and eventually, the ICBM.

I think the missile is supposed to be elevated above the silo for tanking and launching, isn't it?

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Astrosammy, the base and its new features work perfectly. I can't wait to see the completed product. Thank you for the update.

God morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Astrosammy, will you be adding silo doors to the base?

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Astrosammy, I noticed at the base that the silo elevator was 90 degrees off from the launch azimuth. For Mercury's purpose, it needs to be to reach orbit. But for the ICBM, it has to go north, so therefore in the scenario, I could rotate it 90 degrees. When you make the guidance profile, I hope you take this into consideration. Just a concern...

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Astrosammy, will you be posting anymore beta's of Site 11? And also, will your guidance profile be ready today?
