:welcome: to the forum! It is more or less half before and half after the point you are supposed to. I have always loved and used BurnTimeCalcMFD (BTC) 1.5 I greatly recommend it. It works with everything that assumes dV is being spent instantly.

Ships like the XR series have built in fuel transfer capabilities which can be easily adapted via the config file. So don't expect them to behave like the stock DG until you checked out the options.

Thorton uses an alternative to zip called rar. It is more efficient in most cases and is actually more commonly used than zip. Many well known zip programs can handle rars too, like 7zip. The best rar handler comes from rarlabs. They just released WinRAR 4.0.

You can not record notes with the orbiter recorder directly. However, you can write your own annotations in the system.dat file in the corresponding Flights folder. The DG to the Moon is a great example of that. Of course a full description of the annotation format is in the documentation. I...
