Ariane 6 for Orbiter 2016
This is the English version.
A French version is available on Papy's Hangar site.
This add-on is designed to be installed with the ELA-4 for Ariane 6 add-on MANDATORY
(Available HERE for the English version, or on the Papy's Hangar site for the French version.)

The payloads carried by the flight VA 262 rocket are provided :
You can do the first mission of this rocket either in automatic mode (you just have to watch) or in manual mode.
All the details and explanations of the mission are in the (small) explanatory manual which is located in the ...\Doc\Ariane6 folder.
Also included :
3 "generic" Ariane 6 rockets: one 6.2 version with two boosters, one 6.4 version with four boosters
and one new 6.2 version with the Speltra.
All these rocket have a "generic" payload.
You can use either version of this rocket to customize it and install the payload or satellite of your choice.
(look at the "customization" documentation).
NEW : scenarios for VA 263 - 264 - 265 - 266 (without satellites but with new fairings
)
INSTALLATION :
Just extract the "zip" file into the main root folder of your Orbiter.
If you haven't already done so, don't forget to "Create symbolic links".
You'll find the instructions in the documentation on page 18.
List of improvements for the 251212 version :
NOTE :
I advise against installing my older add-ons in OpenOrbiter 2024.
Keep your trusty old Orbiter 2016 for them and wait for a future update.
If you still want to install them (CSG, Rochambeau, Cessna), avoid installing the Surface Tiles provided with these add-ons,
and then install my add-on TILES FOR FRENCH GUIANA version 2. (Important the "v2"!...) also available on this same site or on Orbit Hangar site.
REQUIRED ADD-ON :
This add-on is designed to be installed with the ELA-4 for Ariane 6 add-on.
Otherwise, if you don't install it, almost all scenarios will result in a CTD.
Some (essential) modules are included in this add-on:
IMPORTANT TO KNOW :
WARNING: For the Multistage2015 module, the included version is a modified version by Matias (dated 10/31/2025)
so that it works with Orbiter 2024.
Unfortunately, it still contains several bugs that I tried to work around as best I could, in my own way.
If you install this add-on in Orbiter 2016, KEEP your original Multistage2015 files.
I thank Pappy2 for the documentation he provided me, and for all the tests he carried out.
And if you want send a little word on the forum, don't hesitate, it's always a pleasure.
Also, if you find any issues, you can send me informations.
