I looked everywhere and I cannot find a link to download Orbiter 2016 since the original site is dead. The links in the Downloads section of this forum site link to the original dead website. I checked Github but it only has the uncompiled version and I have no idea how to compile it. I did web searches and checked many websites that claim to have the download, but I've come up empty.

This is driving me absolutely mad. Please, can someone give me a link to download Orbiter 2016?

Thanks

Edit: Great News, I found it! Flyawaysimulation has it: https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/1368/orbiter-space-flight-simulator-for-windows/

Pete Conrads first words on the moon would sure have been different then. 😁

"Whoopie! Man, that may have been a small one for Neil, but that's a long one for me."

how can we ever forget that announcement ?
what makes me even more in love with them is a fact that I share a name with one of them :giggle:

AI Overview

The funniest Apollo crew is often considered to be Apollo 10, with astronauts Thomas Stafford, John Young, and Gene Cernan joking about floating turds in the command module.
Another contender is the Apollo 12 crew, who secretly planned to take a selfie with a timer, but were unable to do so.

Apollo 10
  • The crew's humorous exchanges, particularly about "floating turds" (fecal matter), were captured in their mission transcripts.
  • Thomas Stafford: Joked about the source of a floating turd, "Mine was a little more sticky than that. Throw that away".
  • John Young: Also joined in the laughter, saying, "Mine was too. It hit that bag".
Apollo 12
  • The crew had a secret plan to create a mysterious image of two astronauts on the Moon.
  • They wanted to take a selfie with a timer, but the plan failed when they couldn't find it.
dammit AI ! 👺
seems like AI prefer space turd jokes
