I'm coming up on 10 years on this forum. During this time I've shared various things out of pure excitement and this is another such post.

Yep, she said yes! We'll be together for 8 years this year and since we're moving out of our small rental studio apartment to our very own "real" house it really felt like the right next step.

Just wanted to share this announcement with y'all. Thanks!

Coongratulations to both of you!!!

May the Probe grant you many happy orbits. :hailprobe:

Congratulations!! Best wishes to you both! :) :)

You lucky dog !!!

Congratulations dude!

That's wonderful :-) Big congrats to you both!!

Awesome, congratulations!

:thumbup: Please note major humour following:

Dude! Run fast! The seven worse words I ever said in my life: "Honey, I love you. Let's get married."

Humour aside, best of luck and life to you both. The best part of my marriage is my 3 year old grandson. Truly the light of my life.

Congratulations dude. I'll be wishing you a bright and happy future.

Congratulations.

Or: good luck.

(I did sure not get a positive answer for the same question this valentines day. All lies and rumors. There is no marriage planned here. Quick, look there, a weather balloon!)

Congrats, and hopefully nothing worsens. 7+ years sounds like enough to either get bored of each other, or confirming that she's the one.

We have our ups and downs, and no chance for kids anymore. Actually I'm happy about it, since there are more downs than ups.

Hopefully it's not your last financial step (it sounds like the next step will be kids). A house is a big burden. We've decided to buy just a 70 m² apartment for us, and use the remaining credit rating for further investment apartments and another crazy investment ideas :) A house will be bought in Poland, only after my wife is back there with her german pension.

During our lives, seeing how dumb our bosses were, contrary to us, we both realized, that even though our bank accounts were on 0, we actually had a huge debt to pay down, left for us by our passive parents. They weren't able to use their time productively thus they didn't leave anything behind for us. We've decided to be different.
