While looking for more information on the North American/Rockwell Boost/Glide Airliner I stumbled across a complete report covering a proposed Hypersonic Research Aircraft which was apparently cancelled to provide additional funding for the Shuttle Program.

As far as I can tell, this one has not been modelled in Orbiter before.

What was the question ?

What was the question ?

Likely no explicit question, but that's an add-on request after all.

But the lack of answers for a request is usually the best sign that the answer to the question "can somebody do it?" will be negative.

Not sure if it really adds something new to Orbiter, since it is practically just an air-launched, battery powered DeltaGlider... but at least an realistic one....

Ah well, I was hoping from all the 'thanks' added to the OP that someone would consider doing it, still I think it would be worth trying as something different.

Well, I had been looking over the linked documents, but its still pretty coarse. Also the executive summary is not linked correctly.

The expected aerodynamics are included in the files, also there is some information about the ramjet performance.

But not much more. No cockpit or even hints on the design. Because the project stopped early, the subsystems are also in a very coarse design stage.

I also failed to find a mission profile there, but I am sure it must have been somewhere in the files.

It is an interesting project. But I can only speak for myself, that I won't do it in any foreseeable time.
