A DGIV of Spacetech Inc. avoided tragedy after a low fuel emergency while flying on an one-orbit positioning flight from Cape Canaveral to Cape Passero last Sunday night. The spaceplane landed on the runway of Sicily's major spaceport with only 32 kg of fuel (0.3% of the full fuel load) remaining in the tanks. The pilot was unhurt. Just a few more from my flights. And I've been flying around with some space planes. Namely the TX (Tug eXperimental) and the G42-200 Starliner. The latter of which I did have quite a blast flying her even though I didn't take her up to orbit. Just a trans atmospheric flight at around 40k or less. I managed to take her from Florida all the way I think it was to Africa in less than an hour. I was flying around Mach 7+ up there.

So here's the two of the TX.

The rest of these are of the G42-200 Starliner.

This is at my mach 7+ configuration.

Last set is a look around within the virtual cockpit area. There's quite a set of buttons that really work on this beauty. Includes a pretty custom EICAS display that works.

The engine controls are great on this. It's the only addon I've seen thus far that you can start the engines from a cold start.

It gives you 4 working MFDs you can see and change. And use the MFDs through the VC. I thank Moach for creating this work of art. I do understand that she's still a work in progress(WIP). So I'm looking forward to what you'd accomplish when it's all a fully released non WIP product.

:hello:

Moach's plan is that EVERY switch in the VC will be flickable, and that most (Almost all) will do SOMETHING.

Four? You sure about that?;)
There's actually another two in the engineering seat view, accessible by hitting the "Tab" key while focused on the G42. I typically run a fuel monitoring MFD and an engine monitoring MFD on those.

 To start, you need to turn on fuel pumps, open doors, start the engines, power up the afterburner mode, and then actually take off. The APU just sounds cool for now, but will have a purpose eventually. It's eventually going to give the XR class a run for its money for most interactive addon. :)

The other two are not switchable. Thus it's not an MFD. They're used for the EICAS exclusively. The initials MFD means they're Multi-purpose. Those other two aren't.

In my book it already is. XRs don't really need starting up. Thus it's already a minus for that addon. XRs are already up and running when you start the scenario.

One thing he can do, if it's possible, is to truly make the spacecraft run from a cold and dark cockpit. Where you have to start everything up from the battery, to all the avionics, lights and all the other systems. Like many can possibly do in MSFS. This would be a truly wonderful thing.

Not the center ones ED_4, the other two that are over on the left seat.

I haven't managed to turn those on yet. I was wondering how you hop on over there. So I only thought of those as dumb terminals. What about the one on the right side? They can use to be activated too. Since they're also similar to the ones on the other side.

click the guy. that will shift the focus to the left seat.

as for the terminal, I assume you are talking about the thing that looks like an EFB? Those are not active. Only the MFDs, and the engine and ascent displays.

I would think, you would have ground personel to do that for you, while you're eating breakfast. :P

Nope, never trust ground personel. I'd rather do it myself, thank you.:tiphat:
