What's an advantage to using Orbiter?

I was showing my seventeen year old daughter this video and pointing out all of the different locations (citys, coastlines, etc.) and she asked me how I knew what and where everything was. I told her that by using Orbiter, I knew what things looked like from space.

I had the same effect when whatching this video. I also recognised locations, just because I know them from space thanks to orbiter!

Seriously, it's a great way to learn Geography ! Would be even better with 3D terrain

One thing I love in Orbiter : it is a truely educative program (astronomy, maths, physics, computer science, geography, history (with some addons like NASSP), and various creative skills when you get into addons...

Speaking only for myself, I get my ISS news direct from a friend at NASA so I rarely look at website ISS updates...
