What Version of Orbiter Do You Use?

I already know there is an earlier thread about this but i thought it did not have enough options.

I have orbiter 2001(just for fun) orbiter 2006 p1 to test my addons and orbiter 2010p1 for orbiting.Where are beta additions found?

2010 P1. None of the addons I use have required 2006, so I see no need to continue using it. I have some ancient version of orbiter somewhere in my old computer. Flew in that a few times just to see how far it's come.

2010 P1 - developement install / only earth and moon enabled to faster loading
2010 P1 - test install - for testing add-ons and actually playing
2006 P1 - as above for work intended for 2006 compatibility

2010 P1 - slow PC for framerate testing

'06 P1. My mom's computer doesn't have the RAM for '10:(

well - I have a test rig (Celeron 600Mhz, 384 MB RAM, 128 MB Radeon) for testing my models and with 2010 P1 I have often better performance than in 2006 P1

I use 2010 P1 for pretty much everything except for shuttle missions - I suck and re-entry with STS so I use 2006 with Shuttle Fleet 4.3 and AutoFCS for most shuttle missions.

Are there any significant features to justify switching to the beta? Is it less stable?

Beta isn't only new features, but bug fixes too, and I'd even say in case of Orbiter they are more stable than the release.

People don't need to be scared of the "beta" word, it doesn't bite, and sometimes using beta release is the only way for fixing some issues.

New features are mostly concerning ShuttleA. If you look at the changelog, you can see what's new and what's fixed:
Code:
100903
* Changed the call sequence for Module::clbkSimulationEnd further down
  the shutdown sequence to avoid deletion of interpreter instances while
  still being accessed [issue #426]

100905
* Bug fix: ScriptMFD module: switching between different script MFD
  modes was not possible.
* Bug fix: Celestial background textures were not deallocated at
  simulation shutdown.
* Bug fix: transx: pen/brush allocation/deallocation fix [issue #564]

100922
* ShuttleA: started on redesign of 2D panels in new mesh-based framework
* ShuttleA: Implemented ADI ball for main 2D panel

101016
* ShuttleA: mostly finished ADI instrument. Rest of panels still needs
  work.
* Added Scenarios\Tutorials\ADI training scenario.
* New feature: highlighting 2D panel elements by script (preliminary)
Additional bug fix for 100903 would be fixing maximum number of local light sources reported for non-T&L graphics cards, that caused crash with local light sources enabled.

2006 P1 for Shuttle Fleet + Expansion Packs
2010 P1 for everything else.
