Hey guys, you know how its always the US Space Shuttle crew always make the EVAs to fix the ISS, since when has the Russians performed a EVA with there Soyuz?

For assembly missions, the Shuttle crew is used, because the Shuttle crew uses Task based training, which means they are trained to do special tasks in a short time. The ISS crews are skill based trained - they know how to fix things in space, when things go wrong and can quickly learn to do EVAs.

When no Shuttle is docked, and a EVA needs to be done, the ISS Airlocks are usually used.

Soyuz itself has a airlock which would make EVAs possible, but does usually not carry a space suit, only a light pressure suit. Spacesuits are transported to the ISS by Progress, ATV and MPLM.

Did the Russians ever perform a EVA with the MIR because i cant remember them ever doing something like that.

They did lots of them. Including large welding experiments in space.

Oh and i forgot to add dont you think the MIR looks kind of.....messy from the outside. Like the ISS it clean the solar panels are straight and all that, but the MIR has solar panels sticking out every which way.

Different design. On Mir, each module was it's own complete spacecraft, including solar arrays for power supply. On the ISS, most US modules are specialized for one task and can't survive without the other modules or the Space Shuttle.

Ok guys, lets get back on topic, lol, if someone did make a 2D panel would it be like NASSP how you press your direction keys and scroll through the panel or what?

You will have to ask DarthVader or castorp for that, they are responsible for that project. I have no idea.

You can find videos about that project on Youtube.

The panels look mostly like ProjectMercury and are not fully realistic.

Video showing the inside of a Soyuz TM simulator capsule (it lacks the second parachute container, it is usually where the additional side hatch is)

The main reason is that projects like this take time, and they take even longer if they are working on another addon instead.

And before you ask, they haven't said what the other addon is.
