Never heard of one, but honestly, I am deeply disinterested in techno since 1992, when it became so much formalized and rigid that classic heavy metal looks innovative compared to it.

But there are Jumpstyle contests in Europe, which are closely linked to the techno scene.

:rofl:Yeah, that one was epic. Too bad only few people had the humor for this, it was also a great wake up song in the otherwise sleepy 2007 contest.

I think we tried to be creative in Germany for the 2007 contest...with the adequate number of points for it, while sending in frustration the worst we had in 2008, same in 2009. Only 2006 was a bit tragic, the 2006 German song is still great, I love hearing it in radio while driving around, but Lordi literally stomped the contest.

Without watching, I could type countries which will advance to final competition, that will occur on Saturday. There is the same situation for a long long time. Always the same countries... Little bit sorrowfull...

This year was really a competition in sending non-european countries and non-european musicians to eurovision...:huh:

Bosnia was ok. UK basically had two songs with Cyprus. Israel gets some extra points for actually singing in their own language.
