China does plan on constructing a space station, even though it lacks a proper space shuttle to carry the parts into orbit.

It really does not take a "proper space shuttle" to build a space station.

Interesting article... I'm hoping that in the future the Chinese space program isn't as covered up as it is right now.

Oh yea, I've seen it during the CCTV's Spring Festival program.
"Tian gong" in Chinese means "sky palace" (perhaps reference to the heavens in Chinese mythology).

I wonder what this will look like as an addon in Orbiter.

By the way happy Chinese new year everyone (that was one or two days ago tho)!
