    I like the contrasting light-colored switches over the dark panel, easier to see in the dark. Incidentally, the black switches in the photo look identical to the ones in my fire trucks. Didn’t know they were that common.

    That video looks like a very out-of-focus camera on something with a light. But, some I’ve seen were drones with running lights, and not consumer style, but more like the larger military style unmanned aircraft. Rumors are that Iran is sending them, but, I think Iran would not display lights...

    For a visual on the wind direction, instead of a weathervane, perhaps a small pennant sorta like a small version of a commissioning pennant on an old sailing ship, like HMS Victory.

    Browse the wiki (https://www.orbiterwiki.org/). There are tutorials here and there. Search for ‘Go play in space’ or GPIS, it’s a great tutorial for the basics. Also, at the wiki, search the videos category, many good YouTube and other videos, especially TexFilms and David Courtney.

    They are well known to get their feet under them to land, but, they’re confused as to which way is under them, and they are drifting in the direction they perceive as something other than ‘down’.

    Could you use the same code, more or less as the propagation of shadows on a body during a solar eclipse? But, that may be a ‘local’ calculation as opposed to, let’s say, the Earth to Saturn calculation. I just noticed that O2016 fails to show moon shadow on the Earth, so maybe that doesn’t work...

    The only good pressure vessel for this type of work is a sphere, and probably not carbon fiber, its best strength is in tension, not compression. They recovered much of this vessel last summer, but, I don’t know if they got all the important stuff.

    @doscocos: Welcome to the old farts Orbinaut club. For me it was sixth grade and watching Al Shepard’s hop on a 10 or 11 inch B&W TV with rabbit ears from about 50 feet away ‘cause the little kids got to sit up front. Found Orbiter in 2005.
