Did he EVER look at Orbiter?

I've met several myself in my many travels to JSC, KSC, and other places. I've met John Young, Jim Lovell, Buzz Aldrin, Al Bean, Jack Schmitt, Gene Cernan, and MANY from the space shuttle missions.

Watched it. Was absolutely brilliant. Made me feel like a little kid again watching Apollo 13 and wanting to go play with my Ultimate Saturn V standing on my night stand... which I did. Only thing I didn't like, they skipped Gemini V. Pete n' Cooper got hosed.

I too can say today was a very enjoyable day. Good day at work, got off and went to a friend's house for a pool party, everyone had a good time, then we all went to the lake and hung out there. Was a very tranquil day.
