Just finished reading "The Dead and the Gone", which is a backstory to "Life as We Knew It". It's a post-apocalyptic story about a kid named Alex surviving in NYC after a meteor impact lowers the Moon's orbit. How this is possible, I have no idea.
I'm not really a fan of bugs myself, but I spare them when I can. There was one instance in a hotel where I found a bug drowning in the pool, so I picked him up and put him on the side. When I was done and drying off, he came up to me, almost as if to thank me :lol:

Well that doesn't surprise me much, because it's the superplane from Ace Combat 6. People have noted that it seems to implement features from all other superplanes. It's a very unstable bird that takes some skill to fly, but once you get a feel for it, it's unstoppable.
