This is a new texture for the celestial background on Orbiter 2010 P1. For the most real settings, put the intensity to 0.05, and for the stars, 1 of magnitude, exponential. Unzip, and enjoy !

Even by putting the semi major axis at 0.1 by example, it will not be perfect cause the star will twinkle. to repair that you can put an alpha hole at the center of the 2d texture, to see only the star without something behind.

This is my modification of a cassini map of jupiter that delet the SEB. The texture is level 8, but the new SEB is not like the real one : i did it with photoshop, i just tryed to get the realest look. For installation please read the  INSTALLATION.txt  file or it will not works.

I don't think so, in my opignon it is not possible because of the Earth's rotation, it could be an enemy for a so big and high buildin. But why not try it and determine ..!
