Bruce, you might be interested to know that OpenSUSE 13.2 is running faster on my hardware than Kubuntu did. It may have something to do with the use of BTRFS, I'm not sure. In any case, it's treating me really well, and I highly recommend you give it a try.

Mostly I just like the style of it. And the change from the jungle-green theme to a sea-green theme is even better. I always had nothing but trouble with previous OpenSUSEs. I've already told my horror stories about 12.1 in this thread, but it was the looks that made me keep giving it another...
