MER-2003 recreates the historic flight and explorations of the robotic rovers Spirit and Opportunity. Both missions can be flown from launch to surface explorations. The screen shot shows Opportunity with its Instrument Deployment Device extended, the Lander in the background, and the backshell and parachute in the far distance. The local Martian landscape is included. This add-on is packed with animations and very accurate. A detailed .PDF Operations Manual is included.
The launch scenarios require installation of Delta Mission v2.0 by Brian Jones (BrianJ), available at avsim.com All other scenarios are "stand alone" and require no further downloads.
