It only recognizes 1 out of 4 of my controllers, but they show up fine in the previous versions. I tried them in different ports as well but no luck, anyone else?
Thank you guys for the responses, I wanted to make sure but now I'm curious about the latest implementations in NASSP, been a few years since I last used it so I think I'll give checklist MFD a shot after all. Did the real P52 automatically move the sextant on top of the star upon pressing PRO...
NASSP 7 had the procedures and their timestamps all condensed into 1 excel file (e.g. Apollo 7 Flightplan vAgc.xls) but in 8 the documentation looks very different and I find it difficult to follow and I don't like using the checklist MFD, so my question is can I use the version 7 flightplans...
I'll play around with the dates and I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks :3
Edit: Ok so I'm trying the PSP mission, and I'm trying to do the 1st flyby of venus according to the actual date it happened (28.09.2018), adjusting transX for that date gives me 10km/s worth of dV I need to burn off...
How do you even do a mission like this with transX, how do you get all the parameters e.g. how close you need to fly-by for a gravity assist, and what should your Earth eject plan look like, the only solution I managed to make has me doing an 8km/s dV burn to leave the Earth and after launch I...
So the Apollo missions had several iterations of the AGC software that were used, I didn't know that.
I've managed to deorbit and splashdown in the middle of the Indian Ocean and everything went extraordinarily well! I noticed, however, that CM RCS feels kind of overpowered, even the computer...
Ahh I see then. I used IMFD/Delta Velocity for all my burns, I don't think I've ever tried out the RTCC MFD. Suppose I'll try landing in the Indian ocean a bit later. Just curious, are all the AGC programs and codes for CSM and LM simulated in NASSP, or are there any that were left out for...
I tried that, but what would end up happening is that no matter what GET I select, by resetting R2 on N60 to +00000 every time after V32 the impact coords wouldn't go lower than approx. +13xxx longitude. Only If I let R2 increase when I key in V32 will the longitudinal coordinate get down to...
I appreciate the quick response! I performed automatic SV update 20 minutes prior to starting deorbit ops, as for the other inputs,
here's the excerpt of the entire procedure and I followed it to the number,
with the exception of changing the burn GET to T+260:05:00 to get the longitude coords...
Hello, I'm doing the Apollo 7 mission in NASSP 8 for Orbiter 2016 by following the Apollo7vAGC Flightplan file that was included in the NASSP 7 for Orbiter 2010.
I've reached the deorbit portion of the flightplan but I ran into an issue with Program 37. After punching in the proper GET for the...
Thanks, I managed to complete STS-1 in one shot without reloads thanks to the spreadsheet and everything works as it should, of course I didn't want to leave my first successful mission undocumented so here you go! (Guidance rectangle is glitchy in the replay but it all worked like a charm...
You were right!
This time around I made sure to wait until at least T-5 and I also pitched the shuttle up to about 50 degrees before switching over to OPS 304, so now it's all good. While we're at it, I'd like to ask two more questions:
1. How do I change the target landing site? Only now did I...
Hello, I've a bit of an issue with the reentry so I'm trying to get to the bottom of it and figure out what I could be doing wrong
After performing the Deorbit burn for EDW runway 15, when I switch to OPS 304, the RCS apparently positions the shuttle in preparation for the entry interface and...
