The thought is to have a scenario where the goal is revealed as you progress. Arriving then entering a base could reveal text instructions for the next step or a cargo container for shipment, for example. Not knowing all the objectives of the scenario would make it more fun to play.

I have two unrelated ideas for Orbiter. I do not know if either of these ideas are feasible. What would be involved? 1: From LEO you the DGIV captain opens a reconnaissance MFD and view a detailed satellite view of the earth directly under your craft. The MFD is tied into Google Earth...

moon orbit What is the most efficient direction to orbit then land on the moon? Is it west to east?

I thought it wold be easy to take the excellent World of 2001 StationV and use it with in a DGIV scenario. I copied the StationV.mesh, .cfg, .ddl and referenced .dds files into the Orbiter directory. Every thing works, it is great fun to dock with, but I can not switch ships to StationV and it...

maybe someone should try to find an e-mail for Buzz and send him the link to the forums and the sim? Just don't question his trip to the moon. :)

DgIV and Perseus for deep space. It also doubles as a space station.

We need an Edwards AFB for this version of Orbiter. Nothing special just a runway.
