Aah, Thorton's addons... :hail: Awesome pics garanteed.

No, this is not an ICBM, just a rocket with a completely failing guidance program... Now, is there a big difference for the people below ?

Plenty of great shots of that thing's business end, Molson, how'd you end up dealing with the roll-control?

Here is me in my DGIV (Firehawk) attempting to rendezvous with an XR2 that was heavily damaged during its test flight (explosion Apollo 13-Style). The XR2 test pilot managed to stop the wild oscillation with the still-functioning RCS thrusters, but the main engines were offline and the heat shield was seriously compromised.

Epilogue: The XR2 crew was rescued successfully and the plane is still orbiting - although not for long, since the orbit is seriously decaying. The Firehawk landed at Cape Canaveral after a 19-hour trip from the runway.....

Just a little something I'm workin' on. Inspired by my work on the Cortez.

You don't want to hear this... :(

At least the front didn't fall off...

A Kestrel atmospheric shuttle (next project) departs the main hangar of the EAS Cortez.
